I can't help but think to myself about all the simultaneous happenings that are occurring somewhere here on this surface, making the greater dichotomies present in reality even more present and aware...as if to elucidate the role they play, or essence of their existence.
I came upon a great quote recently by Andy Warhol: "I believe art is for everyone." A simple quote that says so much.
But then the inundation of thoughts just poured in to my ever-in-flux mind, and made me think about the privilege of those who get to enjoy art, and those who suffer at the whim or beck and call of some larger abusive entity or collective hierarchal powers.
And then I thought to myself that the Cultural Matrix most definitely is in need of a gentrification or reformation of some kind.
But I think for now, I'm just going to believe that the power vested within is the true way to soothe the soul. Art is the vision of the soothing relation.
You can't control or administer the actions, offerings, and thoughts of others, for they are responsible for their own kind. However what you can do is create awareness, and be responsible for the kindred in such a matter that brings altruistic understanding of their own need and necessity of responsibility.
Thanks Andy, and thank you all you wonderful, amazing people who have been so kind and gracious to us.
Now...ENJOY THIS VIDEO!
Please, don't be bashful, and always reply with your thoughts. We love when that mind is in motion!

After 5 years, "What year will you have the World?.." sees its destiny. And we're throwing a party to save the world.
On the eve of this announcement, as I sit here typing away, grappling with the multitude of events and happenings that have come our way in the recent moments, I can't help but be mesmerized by the seemingly immaculate thunderstorm looming overhead; a perfect omen, elucidating exactly what I've always thought, dreamt, and felt for all of us with Peachcake.
Life happens one moment at a time, one instance, one occurrence, or sometime a many, some anew, some not so, but you've got to stick by and believe in all of what you've known, and thus, what you knew. :)
I am happy to write on this lightningly-lit-up night, that after 5 years of being a band, and 3 years of creating this album, "What year will you have the World?.." will finally be released, seeing the light(ning) of day on November, 18th, 2008. It will be a glorious day, and moment in time upon which its untouchable vibes of positivity will become unbound, releasing a vast amount of positivity into the mass media's eye.
From there, we'll take it one day, one moment at a time.
As you may already know/have heard, we have partnered with Warner Music and ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance) to bring this full circle; fully actualized so you'll be able to attain both a physical and/or digital copy, as per your desired medium. We've launched our own collective record entity to release it under, "The Planet Awesome," which is most appropriate entitling, or probably a given at this point. ;) (And AWESOME shall prevail!) In fact, I believe I'm voting, Awesome, in '08...or maybe that's just Peachcake? I'm so confused.
We've also launched another partnership with our pals in Los Angeles, (who were instrumental in the creation of the album, and produced the record), Subtractive, to bring you a gamut of content and cool projects we're constructing and amidst producing...what those are, you'll have to wait and see, but we are quite excited to let our veil down, of which it shall be done so, in a matter of soon-time. Execution is key, and this stuff indeed must be brought to fruition.
Also, on a lighter, more reassuring note, we are not signing to Warner Brothers, or any label for that matter. It's been public knowledge and understanding that, up until this point, we were signed to an Indie label. Be a it may, that is no longer in effect, and we are completely independent, which seems to be the re-occuring theme here; hence why we've taken it upon ourselves to put this record out exactly how we want, the way we want.
And it shall be done right!
Remember: Life happens moments at a time. And if you get caught up in what you want every moment to look, feel, and be like, you might miss out on the nuances of it's uniqueness, it's spontaneity and the quality of which it holds, in the grand scheme, and greater pictures of life.
We're taking this one moment at a time, and for now these moments are incredibly exciting and filled with exuberance.
There's plenty more to come, and we hope you'll continue on the journey toward Planet Awesome with us.
But until then...

Peachcake and the Planet Awesome Entity announces Partnership with Warner Bros./ADA and Subtractive for release of new album...
Hi all, we have some exciting things to share and tell you, so please read, below! Thanks! :)
Peachcake partners with Warner Bros./ADA for the release of our new album, "What year will you have the World?.." (Chaching, Chaching! - Thingk Grant Hill's late 90's commercial for Sprite)...;)
Let's get something straight...we are not SIGNED nor are we in the process of SIGNING to Warner Brothers. Therefore, they do not own, nor control any aspect or the destiny (to any degree, or under any circumstances) of Peachcake and the music/content we will release hereafter. Signing a record deal is an arcane, dying model, of which we are not interested in being a part of...(and trust me, we were once there, so we've gained that perspective, and we couldn't be more grateful for having learned the lessons we have, propelling us to move forward on our own accord, doing things the way we see fit, to build our destiny in earnest form).
Actually, the record will be coming out on our own entity, "The Planet Awesome." Warner/ADA have agreed to help us get it out to you guys and permeate it through their vast capabilities of doing so. Chaching, chaching! (Like that Grant Hill commercial for Sprite, right?)
We've partnered not only with Warner/ADA, but also with our good pals, Subtractive, (in Los Angeles), to bring you and propel forth a multitude of new projects and things that will in some way or another work toward achieving our goal of uplifting and inspiring the masses; Creating movement in the form of a sea of vastness, for all the kids and adults to quit being chastised for living the lives they've always wanted to devise.
These are very exciting times for us, and a revolutionary period in the progression of Peachcake. We really need your continued support and help as well, to bring this out and keep this new model we're making alive and constantly revived.
Keep up with us, because we'll soon be unveiling all kinds of new doings to coincide with our various bidding(s) of our collective soul offerings. ;)
Greatness abound, and in order to celebrate and adorn this celebratory occasion, we will be releasing to you, for download, a grip of all of our previously released material upon our Myspace profile. We'll be putting up and taking down the jams throughout the weekend, and then we'll announce the official release date on Monday!
So don't miss out!
First one: "I fell in love with you while listening to my favorite Morrissey Album." Go download it @ http://www.myspace.com/peachcake, kidz!
Thank you sosososo much...I know it's taken us about 4 years (yes, after 4 years in the making, it's finally here), but we know and believe, and feel how worth it it is!
You're all beautiful!
Vote PEACHCAKE! We're gonna save the WORLD!
