After 5 years, "What year will you have the World?.." sees its destiny. And we're throwing a party to save the world.

On the eve of this announcement, as I sit here typing away, grappling with the multitude of events and happenings that have come our way in the recent moments, I can't help but be mesmerized by the seemingly immaculate thunderstorm looming overhead; a perfect omen, elucidating exactly what I've always thought, dreamt, and felt for all of us with Peachcake.

Life happens one moment at a time, one instance, one occurrence, or sometime a many, some anew, some not so, but you've got to stick by and believe in all of what you've known, and thus, what you knew. :)

I am happy to write on this lightningly-lit-up night, that after 5 years of being a band, and 3 years of creating this album, "What year will you have the World?.." will finally be released, seeing the light(ning) of day on November, 18th, 2008. It will be a glorious day, and moment in time upon which its untouchable vibes of positivity will become unbound, releasing a vast amount of positivity into the mass media's eye.

From there, we'll take it one day, one moment at a time.

As you may already know/have heard, we have partnered with Warner Music and ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance) to bring this full circle; fully actualized so you'll be able to attain both a physical and/or digital copy, as per your desired medium. We've launched our own collective record entity to release it under, "The Planet Awesome," which is most appropriate entitling, or probably a given at this point. ;) (And AWESOME shall prevail!) In fact, I believe I'm voting, Awesome, in '08...or maybe that's just Peachcake? I'm so confused.

We've also launched another partnership with our pals in Los Angeles, (who were instrumental in the creation of the album, and produced the record), Subtractive, to bring you a gamut of content and cool projects we're constructing and amidst producing...what those are, you'll have to wait and see, but we are quite excited to let our veil down, of which it shall be done so, in a matter of soon-time. Execution is key, and this stuff indeed must be brought to fruition.

Also, on a lighter, more reassuring note, we are not signing to Warner Brothers, or any label for that matter. It's been public knowledge and understanding that, up until this point, we were signed to an Indie label. Be a it may, that is no longer in effect, and we are completely independent, which seems to be the re-occuring theme here; hence why we've taken it upon ourselves to put this record out exactly how we want, the way we want.

And it shall be done right!

Remember: Life happens moments at a time. And if you get caught up in what you want every moment to look, feel, and be like, you might miss out on the nuances of it's uniqueness, it's spontaneity and the quality of which it holds, in the grand scheme, and greater pictures of life.

We're taking this one moment at a time, and for now these moments are incredibly exciting and filled with exuberance.

There's plenty more to come, and we hope you'll continue on the journey toward Planet Awesome with us.

But until then...

VOTE PEACHCAKE IN '08! (On the AWESOME party!)

-Stefan
